Let the countdown begin! We are weeks away from the 2025 St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and organizers have announced this year’s route. No big changes except for the start time – which this year will begin at 11:30am. The earlier start is to accommodate parade volunteers so they are not still out on the route until 6pm like last year. Get ready for the annual Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Mobile's St. Patrick Day Parade! Join 400 foot marchers, two marching bands, floats, carts and more and line Dauphin Street to watch the Friendly Sons parade from the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception to the Battle House Renaissance Hotel and Spa. The St. Patrick's Day Metairie Road Parade is a family-friendly parade that takes place on Metairie Road in Old Metairie. The parade was founded in 1971 and features over 100 floats trucks bands marching clubs and throws. The history of Boston's St. Patrick's Day parade can be traced back to 1737, and this year's edition will take place Sunday, March 16, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Broadway T station and traveling 3.5 miles to Andrew Square.
